Ram Charan Nayak out of Pongal race

Mega Power Star Ram Charan starrer Nayak that was earlier scheduled for a release for Pongal now seems to be out of the race. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the news from the producer.

Earlier, NTR starrer Baadshah too was dropped from Sankranthi release and now, VV.Vinayak-Ram Charan combination Nayak has followed the path. With two big films being out of Pongal race, we will witness Venkatesh starrer Shadow and Prabhas tentatively titled Varadhi are slated for January Sankranthi releases.

Kajal Agarwal and Amala Paul are playing the female leads in Nayak  being produced by DVV Danayya under Universal Media banner. Thaman is the music director.
